The Workshop: Impactful, Integrated Storytelling for MBA Aspirants

The most crippling weakness I find in MBA essays is a dearth of detailed storytelling, resulting in questionable goals or lackluster achievements. This problem often results in a missed opportunity to tell an integrated and comprehensive story that unites your past, present, and future — the hallmark of great essays.

Through active discussion, I’ll show you what level of detail is necessary to describe your achievements with maximum impact. You will also experience strategically integrating your stories so that your entire application surpasses the sum of its parts.

To register, please e-mail me your CV and a one- or two-sentence description of your short-term (immediately upon graduating) career goal that includes your role/title, industry, and preferred geographic location. Rough ideas are fine. The workshop will be interactive, with spaces limited to 8 people to foster participation and cohesion.

Far beyond an information session, this workshop encapsulates key principles and practices for developing applications that beat admissions odds and win scholarships.

Who can benefit from the workshop?

1)     Re-applicants seeking to understand what might have gone wrong and how they can improve for next time.

2)     New applicants and those from “non-elite” backgrounds wanting to understand how they can still stand out.

3)     Those wanting a head start on resume and goals development.
